Participation of Israelis in the Program

The participation of Israelis in the program is critical to creating an opportunity for participants to explore Israel as insiders. Nesiya is ready to work closely with client organizations to develop a programmatic vision which offers participants shared living and learning experiences with a diverse group of Israeli peers.

Nesiya is committed to recruiting appropriate Israeli participants who speak English and are prepared to join a non-Israeli group for a brief period. We have been most successful in arranging brief mifgashim by recruiting Israelis from among Israeli high school students who participate in a year-round service and leadership program conducted by Nesiya in Israel. We have also worked successfully in developing programs which bring together North American and Israeli young people from specific schools and communities, sometimes with P2000 support from federations or funding from other local or national sources.
