Challenge Grant Announcement
We are pleased to announce the renewal of a
$40,000 challenge grant* that has been generously offered by an anonymous
donor.
The goal of this challenge grant is to
help Nesiya continue to expand our base of supporters and increase annual scholarship
resources.
According to the terms
of the grant, 2008 donations of $1,000
or more will be matched by an additional contribution to Nesiya of $1,000.
In addition, Nesiya
alumni have the opportunity of batching their gifts with one another: every
$1,000 contributed by a group of alumni will also be matched by the anonymous
donor.
The deadline for meeting this challenge
is December 31, 2008.
Please consider making a significant and
timely contribution to Nesiya and encouraging others to do so.
*
According to the terms of the challenge grant, the amount of matching funds is
based on the annual increase in the number of gifts of $1,000 or more, including the
sum total of alumni gifts of any size.
The Nesiya Institute is a registered 501(c)3 organization and all donations are
fully tax-deductible.
Development at Nesiya
Nesiya's creative leadership programs for American and Israeli young people are supported largely by donations from private individuals.
Thanks to our dedicated donor base, the past years have been the most successful in Nesiya's 23-year history. Nesiya provided more programs, for more young people, than in any previous year. These successes would not have been possible without our donors' generous gifts and continuous support.

Investments in Nesiya: 2004-2007
Nesiya is particularly indebted to donors who have made multi-year funding commitments. These contributions enable precious staff resources to be focused on intensifying the quality of Nesiya programs and recruiting more young people, rather than concentrating on annual fundraising needs.
We invite you to invest in Nesiya programs that build relationships and explore differences among diverse Jewish young people in order to develop leaders and invigorate Jewish life. Every North American and Israeli who receives financial support agrees to fulfill follow-up enrichment, leadership, and service activities in his or her home community.
All donations are fully tax-deductible.
If you would like to contribute to Nesiya, please donate online above or send your check to:

Nesiya is also grateful to the many foundations, institutions, and
individual donors that have provided major support during the past two
decades, including: the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Foundation, Steven
Spielberg's Righteous Person's Foundation, the Nathan Cummings Foundation,
the New York UJA Federation, the Rainbow-Keshet Foundation, the Horowitz
Ratner Family, Susie and Michael Gelman, the Lopatin Family Foundation, the
Schwarz Family, Joan and Robert H. Arnow, and many other generous donors.
