Job Description

Counselor-Educators and Head Counselor-Educators will:

• Spend six weeks living full-time and traveling throughout Israel with a group of high school students

• Care for the physical, emotional and social welfare of participants

• Work with senior staff to develop, implement, and facilitate educational and social programming

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with high school students

• Interest in Judaism as well as Jewish and Israeli culture

• Desire to work with a diverse group of participants and staff

• Bachelors degree preferred

• Fluent English required, strong Hebrew a plus

Program Dates

We are currently seeking candidates for Nesiya's six-week summer program in Israel:

• Sunday, July 4 - Monday, August 15

The positions will involve part-time work before the program for training and curriculum development.

Ideal candidates will be available for ongoing staffing with Nesiya.
